Cohousing-L Mailing List: Ordinances and Zoning for CoHo??

Hi All,
Concord Ecovillage is making great progress. We now have the signed 
Agreement of Sale for the land, and are meeting with Borough 
Officials, State Representatives, and other wonderful people who can 
help us make this happen. The Architects have been sketching, and we 
will see 3 preliminary drafts of the plot plans later today.

One thing we think we are going to need to do is to get the property 
re-zoned for better clustering. The borough is receptive to this, and 
invited us to help write the new ordinance. Here's where I need to 
reach out to you. If you are aware of zoning that is coho-friendly, 
would you please advise me of the location? (County, City, Township, 
Borough, or whatever level of local government that the ordinance is 
written at.) Even better, if you could send an electronic copy of the 
ordinance, or point me to it on-line, I would be most grateful. We'll 
use the samples we collect to guide us in writing what we need.
