We use Allstate. $5400 covers 14 units and a 2000 sf CH. $3.676 million in property coverage.

In California there is a difference between condominiums and zero-lot line townhouses, which is what we have. That does affect the insurance rates.

Our insurance costs about $14k. It covers 31 townhomes and a 4,000 sq ft common house. Original
construction value in 2004 was around $11M. We use Farmers Insurance.

Subject: [C-L]_ coho insurance question

It's budget season here at Puget Ridge Cohousing and we are again reviewing
our community condo insurance. We are interested in your comments,
especially from communities structured as condos....who is your current insurance carrier/company and what kind of insurance costs are you expecting
in 2009?

Also, if anyone has a recommendation on a cohousing/condo coverage
insurance broker in the Seattle area, I would be interested in that as
well.

Thanks very much.
