Re: Shared vs Individual Costs

This subject was the source of community debate for the better part of a year
and, as of this
date, has never been decided at Oak Creek Commons. Most items are currently
community supported
and free to members and guests - hot tub, guest rooms, great room and kitchen
use, a dog park,
kid's play room, organic garden costs, and Saturday morning bagels. Two are
individual pay -
extra reserved parking spots and laundry. Last year, committees were formed to
bring proposals
to the community about possible changes, but no change proposal received
widespread support and
consensus was never reached. Most members seem relatively satisfied with the
current
arrangement, although several would like to see changes. The subject arises
anew every year
around this time when the next budget is up for discussion.

Yes -- very logical. What about things like using the laundry room or
supporting the hot tub? Guest rooms?
