Winslow Cohousing paid about $19,000 in 2008 for insurance,  this 

covered 30 homes (10 duplexes, a 4-plex and a 6-plex), and the common 

house, and included earthquake insurance.

Likewise, this is for buildings, liability, directors insurance, etc. 

then individuals are encouraged to get condo/renters insurance for their 

contents.
