Arbco did several meals with our construction crew. We also had a ceremonial pine tree on the roof center beam for awhile, which is some sort of a scandanvian thing. And a celebration we term Land Day when we purchased the property. Just got had a our Open House, which celebrated getting to done! Potlucks can now be held in the common house!!! --Dirk On Nov 14, 2008, at 1:29 PM, Kristen Simmons wrote:
Did your group do anything special to celebrate big milestones during the development process? Our group might have a milestone soon, and it would be nice to do something to celebrate it, since so much hard work went into it.Even something ceremonial at a regular meeting would be nice. It would also be nice to learn what events other groups celebrated.
