Cohousing-L Mailing List: Need expert advice on residential use contracts

Hello all,

Does anyone on the Cohousing list have expertise or can anyone give 
us some referrals for experts (perhaps lawyers but informed 
non-lawyers could also be helpful) regarding the writing of contracts 
for housing/residential use for our non-profit community?  We are 
situated in Oregon so the ideal person or people would have knowledge 
specific to Oregon.  We are looking for volunteer and/or professional 
(paid) assistance.

One of the questions we need to address is "should we lease the homes 
and the land (footprint)?" or "should we lease the footprint but have 
regulated private ownership for the actual houses?"  Of course, we 
have many more questions and technicalities to address.
