There is a wonderful building that could be converted into a very cool
cohousing community near downtown Bryan. It's an old school building, 3
floors, about 15 or 16 large classrooms on the upper two floors, each of
which would make a very comfortable 1 or 2 bedroom unit.
This is a project that could easily get started with half a dozen folks who are interested in doing the retrofit and putting in some sweat equity. An overall price point of less than $100K/unit when done should be easy to make, particularly if the bottom floor is used for commercial space.
I could go on and on about the niftyness of this building and location, but I thought I would see if there is any other interest here first.
-- Matt It's not what I know that counts. It's what I can remember in time to use.
