I sit at the registration desk with the volunteer registrar, Marilyn and Jan
Gudmand Hoyer.

I little while ago, things were really buzzing here as people meet and greet
and check in to pick up their registration materials. I overheard two people
who met each other face-to-face for the first time after years of email
exchanges.

The pre-conference workshops are going on in classrooms all around us.

The Senior Cohousing workshop being given by Chuck Durrett is chock-full of
people. They had to move more funiture into the room to handle them all.

Margo Adair and Bill Aal are giving a workshop entitled "Social
Permaculture" that I can see through the glass windos right now. They are
now meeting in small groups and if the facial expressions are any key, the
participants seem to be quite engaged.

Katie McCamant's Getting it Built workshop is on the fourth floor, so I have
not seen it first-hand yet, I plan to do a "walk-by" a bit later today - or
maybe I'll join them for lunch... we bought a few extras.

By the way, during the International Summit (Sun-Tue), several folks talked
about how incredibly valuable Coho-L has been to them over the years. It has
provided so many with a day-to-day connection and tool for accessing both
the accumulated and interactive knowledge of so many.
