Hi Tamara!Congrats on initiating your new group! There is high adventure in store for all of you.
Where are you located? What can you tell us about the project as it is known to date?
How many "core group members?" Developer driven? Resident driven? Professionals involved? Size of potential site? Number of potential units? Any projected costs? Intergenerational? Senior? Adult oriented? Urban? Suburban? Rural? The more info you can give us on this list the better abel we are to answer your questions.
Much luck to you as you start your cohousing journey! Best -- Ann Zabaldo Takoma Village Cohousing Washington, DC Principal, Cohousing Collaborative, LLC McLean, VA 703 663 3911 On Nov 15, 2009, at 9:48 AM, Tamara Jackman wrote:
Our group's first meeting is coming up this week, and I'm wondering about insight people have into keeping that positive energy as momentum goingforward. We have a site in mind, so it seems we should start actively working on our group cohesiveness and determining the feasibility of obtaining the property, perhaps splitting into sub-groups.I know people will be excited when they come, and I don't want to see that fizzle. Also, is there anything especially useful we should include in an inaugural meeting? Or, alternatively, any pitfalls we should strive toavoid?
