Maybe this has been mentioned before.   We use www.zoho.com "project" 
functionality. First for a year the free version to be sure it was working for 
us. Now we pay.  You have both email and web based functionality, project 
management, a wiki etc. Works good for us!

(we have started with preparing our site for the construction!  Common house 
should be ready in 9 months! Yahooooooooo!)
