Hi-

My kids and I used bentos from laptop lunches for a long time, and have handed 
them down.  I switched to Lunchbots (you can see them over at 
http://www.Lunchville.com) because I needed something my teenage son would use, 
and because the steel containers work better in my dishwasher. The lids really 
do stay on.
