We saw this film in Tucson at the International Film festival and met the
director and would highly recommend seeing it. We understand it is coming
back here to be shown at The Loft theatre, our art cinema.

Bay Area Cohousers, please join us after work this Monday evening
(5/9) at Hub Berkeley (CA) at the David Brower Center for an East Bay
exclusive sneak preview of HAPPY, the new movie, with the director
onsite:

Does money make you happy? Kids and family? Your work? Do you live in
a world that values and promotes happiness and well-being? Are we in
the midst of a happiness revolution?

Roko Belic, multi award-winning director of the Oscar-nominated
Genghis Blues now brings us HAPPY, a film that sets out to answer
these questions and more, taking us to over 14 countries, from the
bayou of Louisiana to the desert of Namibia, from the beaches of
Brazil to the villages of Okinawa. From a scientist scanning brains in
his lab to a rickshaw puller in the streets of Kolkata, we learn
amazing truths about happiness.

The film, hosted by East Bay Cohousing (EBCOHO), actually features
Cohousing in Denmark, the Dalai Lama, and many more stories that
reveal the true power of community. It is a sister movie funded by the
director of the new "I Am" currently in some theaters.

Community organizers/Cohousing Coaches Raines Cohen and Betsy Morris
are very pleased to host Director/Producer Roko Belic and crew for an
East Bay Exclusive sneak preview of HAPPY, in Downtown Berkeley at the
Hub at the David Brower Center.

Doors open at 6:30 pm; film by 7 (70 minutes), followed by discussion.
2150 Allston Way #400 (at Oxford).

registration highly recommended. Research shows that doing something
kind makes you happier - so buy a ticket for a friend! Or if you can't
