That was me in my former community. There should be a support group for the heavy lifters. However, I was never disillusioned by cohousing. By my fellow cohousers who never lifted a finger yet who felt free to share all the ways in which the community was failing to meet their needs, yes, but I was and continue to be idealistic and optimistic about cohousing. Most people in law-free situations tend to more, rather than less, and the exceptions often have a reason, like health for example, that they don't want to talk about, but will if you try getting close to them first, you might find that you have increased the community bond rather than bonded the community.
