It is much easier to organize your cohousing neighbors to take a quiet cup of 
cocoa/coffee/tea, a movie night, a swim in the ocean or whatever your cup of 
tea is than to organize your friends who are scattered all over the place. 
I feel greatly blessed to have relatives and neighbors willing to watch my kids 
for an hour here and there when I just desperately need either to accomplish 
some tasks or simply to relax for an hour to regain my sanity.And I love living 
in a community where the chances are good that if I have an unexpected few 
hours, there are at least one or two others handy who want to take a walk, or 
jump in the ocean with me.
