we just put in a Teragren bamboo floor in our common house, hasn't been there 
long enough to see how it holds up.... we put tile in the entry by the door to 
outside and across the most trafficked path, and then the bamboo in the living 
area.  see:

It is FSC,  manufactured flooring,  and we are trying to be really good about 
keeping it clean to keep dirt from getting ground in.
