The dining room is too small, especially when a lot of folks decide to come to
dinner and/or there are many guests. I don't know what the optimum number of
seats is. Someone probably has research that can give you some metric.

The room is also noisy, especially when there is a crowd and/or small children
are involved. Many of our residents are older and noisy rooms are uncomfortable
for some people with hearing aids.

While the size is important, also consider how noisy the room will be when
fully occupied. Too many hard surfaces magnify the noise to uncomfortable
levels. We're looking into noise abatement solutions now.

Your architect should be able to advise you on both issues.

Some people hear voices. Some see invisible people. Others have no imagination
whatsoever.
