UUs do a lot of programs that are very similar to cohousing. They are just not based in bricks and mortar. I participated in a program in which members were grouped into intergenerational families of about 30 people that met together regularly in family events. Picnics, adult discussions, swim outings, potlucks, etc. There was also a strong movement for building what we would call senior cohousing which are bricks and mortar. Sharon.
