Cohousing-L Mailing List: law change?

About a year ago, I read in passing that there were laws going forward
that would benefit legal cooperatives. Unfortunately, I did not write
down any specifics.

Do any of you know if these benefits have taken place, and if they
make forming cooperatives more usable and/or appealing for new
cohousing?
