Hi Ann Sharon and All ,

Grattan Institute in Australia has published a report called Social Cities
[ http://www.grattan.edu.au/home.php ] where for the first time Cohousing
was mentioned as an housing alternative. which we hope will give a a bit of
a boost to the movement here.

More then a year ago they hosted Henry Cisneros who was a
cabinet secretary for housing and urban development at the Clinton
administration his topic, American cities ;A 21st century urban agenda.

I think you will find this podcast very interesting [number 37 on the list.]
http://itunes.apple.com/au/podcast/grattan-institute-podcasts/id454639807
mainly with the potential that cohousing can fill with some of these
policies.
