Here’s a chance to see and be seen, ask all the questions you want and
share a virtual tour of what’s going on in the world of cooperative culture
in the Bay Area (and throughout California) including the latest openings
and opportunities in our network of over 1618 people and participating
communities.

natural building, permaculturing, off-the-grid soulmates. Collaborative
coworking and hacker spaces. Community capital andaffordability strategies.
Openings for sale and rent in existing communities.Forming groups, and
upcoming conferences; learn how to join, visit, or start a community. Yup,
it’s all happening at the zoo!

Doors open at 10:00 for setup and socializing. Our Interactive
Participatory Program runs from roughly 10:20 am to 12:45 with a little
time for more socializing afterwards. Optionally carpool or BART+bike
afterwards to the Pleasant Hill Cohousing tour (RSVP separately here).

Topics include:

* Introductions
* Overview of community types in our area (cooperatives, cohousing,
ecovillages)
* How to learn about openings and get to know area communities
* Q&A, Discussion, exercises, and general brain exchange on the things that
most interest you.

Simple refreshments offered. Feel free to bring your lunch or something to
share.

It’s the UN’s International Year of Co-operatives. There’s a LOT going on!
