Got Any "a-ha!" Sociocracy Stories to Share?

I'm looking foward to the sociocracy/dynamic governance training coming up on 
June 16th-17th in my community in Boston at Jamaica Plain Cohousing

A lot of the readings in the field are a bit of a snooze and about as inspiring 
as reading a car owners manual.  

I find the stories of the "a-ha" moments in the readings most valuable and 
illustrative of the how and why sociocracy works. 

Can you recall an instance when sociocracy/dynamic governance really clicked 
(or didn't) for you in your community or organization?
