Cohousing is part of our community name, and it has been a positive.  Even with 
cohousing in the name,we have gotten quite a few many clueless people looking 
to buy  generic real estate: I suspect if cohousing were not in the name it 
would be worse, since there are two or three "Commons" right down the street.   
Our homes have gained slightly in value, while other similar places have lost 
25-30% in value.
