HOLD THE DATE for Northeastern 2013 Cohousing Event Date: Saturday, September 28th 2013: 9:00 - 6:00 Location(s): Cambridge Cohousing, supplemented by Cornerstones Cohousing These are neighboring communities in Cambridge Massachusetts each within 10 minute walk of public transportation - MBTA Redline and 10 minute walking distance of each other. Program: Planning is underway for a mini-conference with concurrent sessions geared to both forming and existing communities. Tours of many communities (within two hour drive of Cambridge) will be open for visiting on the following day. Transportation will not be provided, but carpooling will be encouraged and facilitated. Transportation, Access, and Parking: Cambridge Cohousing, the likely location of the opening Plenary, is a 7 minute walk from the Porter Square MBTA stop on the Red line. There is ample parking at the Alewife MBTA station (2 stops from Porter Square). Some street parking will be available as the resident-only parking ban will be lifted on this day. Limited on-site parking may be reserved through the registration process for those with specific access needs. Cornerstones Cohousing, the likely location of some sessions, is approximately a 10 minute walk from Cambridge Cohousing. Our registration process will enable us to determine if van pools should be offered. Accommodations: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer accommodations for this event.
