after the Northeast Cohousing

Sociocracy is a form of consensus practice that focuses not only on
decision-making, but also on organizational structure ongoing improvement
in support of effectiveness, efficiency and transparency. Sociocracy is
spreading throughout New England and is practiced in the Pioneer Valley
Cohousing in Amherst MA, Belfast Cohousing in ME, Champlain Valley
Cohousing in VT, Green Haven Cohousing in CT, and Cohabitat Québec. There
are study groups and/or partial implementations of Sociocracy than a
half-dozen more cohousing communities in New England.

Come for the day or make it a weekend by also attending the Northeast
Cohousing Summit on the previous day. The Sociocracy workshop will be
presented by Jerry Koch Gonzalez, a 19-year member of Pioneer Valley
Cohousing in Massachusetts, and a certified trainer in both NVC (nonviolent
communication) and Sociocracy.
