I totally disagree with the idea that a cohousing community (or anyone
else for that matter) owes anyone else a website. A phone number and
e-mail were both listed! Old-fashioned (and new-fangled) direct
communication still works, you just have to figure out what questions to
ask before calling or e-mailing.
Creating and maintaining a website takes people hours. And not everyone or every community has the skills or the resources to be on the web. . . . I'd rather know that the folks in Sacramento are blissfully living in community than to discover they are creating a website out of some sense of duty to the rest of the world.
