Port Townsend WA is a liberal enclave in the NE of the Olympic Peninsula. Culturally like a delightful college town, without the college: lots of music, art, street markets and festivals, activism. (I think it was at least 80% of town voted for the failed bill to label GMOs.) The climate is distinctly moderate, with only 17" of rain a year. RoseWind Cohousing is 25 years in, with 24 households, 9 acres --half of it in commons -- a good-sized vegetable garden, orchards, and a well-used common house. After some time with zero resales available, we may have one or two coming up, each with 2BR+. If you might be interested, please email me off list with any questions about the town or RoseWind, and I'll follow up with you. Maraiah Lynn Nadeau www.rosewind.org
