Hi Lorne,

Find ways to get members and potential members together to eat, socialize and 
work together.  Our forming group offered to come to a nearby cohousing's 
workparty; it was great fun and gave us a stronger feel for what living in 
community would mean.  We had Neshama Abraham's help recruiting in the months 
leading up to move-in.  Her advice to match all potential new members with 
someone from the group was spot on- People made connections much more quickly 
(or figured out this was not really their  thing) and were eager to come on 
aboard.
