Please remove unneeded quotes and leave only as much as needed to

Thanks, Kevin, for sharing the experiences of a long-established
community.

My only comment is to urge folks to avoid purity as a goal for the practice
of or expectation for consensus.  After years of experience with it, I'm
not even sure what pure consensus would look like.  I really like Eris'
points about different "flavors" of consensus and her emphasis on figuring
out what works for your community (as well as the need to take the time to
learn.)

The real goal is a successful, sustainable community.

As an occasional musician, it reminds me that some of the greatest, most
inspiring performances are not technically perfect. Rather, they
communicate the essence of the piece. (Of course, they also usually reflect
the deep understanding that comes from practice, experimenting, making
mistakes, the joy of discovery, and ultimately the love of it.).

Hope I haven't wandered too far from the central point of this thread...
