Putting on a modifier before “cohousing” as in “repurposed cohousing” sounds 
like cohousing repurposed as something else.

Perhaps separating them. Since know we are talking about cohousing, it wold be 
repurposed architecture or repurposes buildings. Retrofit construction, or new 
construction.
