No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. *To register: *Pay at the door Join CNVC Certified Trainer Eric Bowers and CNVC Certification Candidate Mika Maniwa for an engaging and experiential introduction to Compassionate Communication and Restorative Systems for Conflict. >From this workshop you will discover how to: · *Speak difficult truth so that others can hear it; · *Listen to difficult honesty without taking it personally; · *Respond to conflict in ways to restore connection, deepen trust, and ensure accountability; · *Take responsibility for your reactions and upsets. Compassionate Communication provides principles and tools for working through conflict, managing strong emotions, and deepening connection with self and others. Eric Bowers Based in Vancouver, BC, Eric Bowers is a CNVC Certified Nonviolent Communication Trainer with extensive training in Attachment Theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Restorative Systems for Conflict. Eric offers professional training, courses, workshops, retreats, keynotes, telecourses and counseling. Over the last ten years Eric has shared his work throughout BC, AB, and the US. Mika Maniwa Mika has been teaching Compassionate Communication for 10 years, leading practice groups for parents, facilitators and individuals wanting to improve their relationships with loved ones and foster mutual understanding in groups. She is passionate about cultivating diverse and inclusive communities.
