I just did some research for the Durham, NC Central Park cohousing, and I was told that Travelers will most likely be 20% less expensive than any other company. And, indeed, another insurance agent came in $5000 more than Travelers. That said, i was also told (by my own trusted insurance agent) that you can say to your agent that you are shopping around and to give you the best rate he/she has so you have the best comparison. (That is, you may get a lower price if you express that you are looking at other companies.)
