At Westwood Cohousing in Asheville: >From our Bylaws: Section 2. Voting: Except as otherwise provided herein and for matters relating directly to the Rules and Regulations, voting shall be based on Lot ownership (one Lot = one vote). Where a Lot is owned by more than one person or entity, the Lot has only one “Owner” and one vote; and, if a dispute arises among the same, the owning persons shall designate, by agreement in writing filed with the Board of Directors (hereinafter “Board”) of the Association, the person entitled to cast the vote for the Lot. The Bylaws don't say what happens if the persons or entities cannot agree. --sue From: Diane Craig <ddcraig [at] gmail.com> To: cohousing-l [at] cohousing.org Sent: Thursday, May 7, 2015 3:04 PM Subject: [C-L]_ Owners of multiple lots and voting For those of you who have members who own more than one lot/home, how do you handle voting for those instances where it is based on household rather than member? Do they get one vote per lot or one vote total?
