Is there interest in a social media site similar to facebook but private to 
your community? I wanted one for our community so I’ve added the capability to 
the websites that I host for cohousing communities. Here’s what I wanted:
- a social media type site that’s only for the community
- no ads and nobody using my data and marketing to companies like facebook does
- the basics of posting text, pictures, comments and “likes”
- some additional structure like the ability to post things that are intended 
to be stored online like recipes, documents, etc. instead of everything 
disappearing down the time hole of my news feed

and, I want to add more features. So please respond if you have thoughts about 
this and/or suggestions or feedback.

p.s. I’ve also added some features to support Sociocracy (hierarchical groups) 
and would be interested in hearing from cohousings that are using different 
organization structures and haven’t found online solutions that fit them very 
well
