Thanks for questions and answers. Yes, it's a Tenancy in Common, our only option in our county and like a co-op I think. Being a TIC is not ideal, but was what we could do to create cohousing in an affordable property we found, already built. In California, at least in our county, it would be expensive and difficult, if not impossible, to convert to condos. And I mention "impossible" because of money politics which you probably don't care to know the details about. We have already had a lot of help/consultation/etc. from lawyers and county planners. No one has mentioned any other banks so far. Does anyone know a contact at National Coop Bank who would be helpful? Thanks, Fern, New Brighton Cohousing
