I second the use of ZenLunatics’ Mosaic program. I have used Google Docs, Yahoo
Groups, various calendar systems and various project management systems and I
highly recommend this program—the other solutions would all have to be cobbled
together and would be awkward and incomplete. For cohousing, the Mosaic program
is easy, intuitive and comprehensive. You can create as many calendars and
reminders as you want, make reservations, track charges for dinners and
rentals, archive documents, and have both personal and team emails and
archives. There’s also a rudimentary discussion forum ability, and a module for
a mini-social-media for photos and announcements—it looks like Facebook but is
a private module for the coho only.

The website address has changed—it is now www.cohousing.site

There is also a discussion about the Mosaic program here.

One of our members found this incredible resource: http://zenlunatics.org/
It includes everything you would want or wish for and more - for free -
including the hosting
All communications and documents and polls/surveys and calendar and photos -
ALL of them in one place.
It is designed by Sean Davey - a computer programmer at the University of
Arizona.
He wrote this software for his community, Sonora Cohousing, and is happy to
share it with other communities.
There?s a demo. I am in the process of testing and evaluating it.
Our group is using Wiggio currently and are mostly happy with some parts of it
i.e. the sharing docs and the calendar but not so many people participate and I
wonder if that is because it isn?t so intuitive to use and it isn?t very
interactive either.
I?d be curious whether other groups are using Mosaic and what you think about
it
