Cohousing-L Mailing List: Meals survey

The first survey done by the Research Committee of the Cohousing
Association. of the United States four or five years ago was rather
extensive and included a few questions about common meals programs in
cohousing communities, though not whether participation was mandatory or
not.   In visits to cohousing in Sweden and Denmark I did find that most
communities required residents to help prepare or clean up for common meals
on an equitably scheduled basis, though not necessarily to eat the meal.
