Dishwashers/residential Dishwashers

We are very glad we went with two high-capacity residential dishwashers.
Dinners are usually 15-18 people, we are often able to use only one dishwasher
although that depends on how many plates/bowls the meal requires. The meal
team of that evening does NOT unload the next day, the clean dishes simply stay
in the dishwasher until the next meal team sets up, at which time much of it
goes right back out on the tables and the rest gets put away. The dishwashers
have a “delay start” function so we can set them to run at any time, which is
helpful to not have dishwasher noise during the biz meeting that follows some
meals.

The only problem we’ve had is that since we have 34”h kitchen counters, only
one dishwasher would fit. It doesn’t have a grinder so plates must be well
rinsed before they go in or it clogs. We check the filter frequently, and
hand-wash wine glasses since they have broken and clogged it before. Pots/pans
go to the pot sink although I think if we had it to do over again, I’d lobby
for foregoing the pot sink for more counter space - it doesn’t get used that
much and people have trouble controlling the commercial style very forceful
spray faucet we installed there. Still need to see if there is a way to adjust
the spray force downwards.
