a graphic designer here made up a bunch of labels with various food ingredient 
combination warning labels to be placed by the pot luck dinner food. we have a 
few people who have various food allergies - myself included - who are alerted. 
a couple bring their own meals.

i, like phil, appreciate vegetarians and vegans by choice who don't make a big 
stink about it and are gracious to their hosts.

i make a point not to eat out with people with food allergies, though.
