Cohousing-L Mailing List: Cohousing Seeking FNMA + FHA-HUD Support

In seeking FNMA and FHA-HUD support of cohousing in their lending
guidelines, Coho/US today delivered letter packages, including letters of
support and a "state of cohousing" white paper. The package is impressive,
particularly in the breadth of supporting letters we received, adding
credibility to our request.

These packages are available for download on our website. We encourage
folks to use these packages if helpful; for example, forming communities
seeking financing may want to share with banks; or communities may want to
share the "state of cohousing" with local media.

Katie McCamant was instrumental in creating this package and will continue
to help lead our efforts - many thanks Katie!
