I use Basecamp with clients, but it’s $1,200 a year and my non-profits
generally don’t like it because volunteers can’t figure out how to use their
settings to control notifications (even though it’s one of the most
user-friendly PMS out there).

Cohousing.site offers a free suite specifically designed for cohousing by Sean
Davey, a resident of Sonora Cohousing in Tucson. You can see and explore
features on the website. It includes an internal email system, including the
ability for work teams to have private group email; a place for announcements,
general doc storage and GM minutes; multiple calendars; and much more.

If you are still in the planning stage, and mainly want a central place to have
archivable discussions, The Cohousing Life
(http://thecohousinglife.proboards.com) offers free private community boards
that only your cohousers can access. Contact me if you’d like to get set up
with one.

Regards,
Mary

Subject: [C-L]_ Forum software?

I'm wondering if anyone is using forum software like Basecamp, Ryver or the
like for community communications, project management and documents. Do you
have one you like?

Thanks,
Karen
