	We gained a significant number of new members, both in terms of 
quantity and quality, by underwriting our local public radio stations. 
The phrase "This programming made possible in part by Jamaica Plain 
Cohousing, a new old-fashioned neighborhood.  Find out more at 
www.jpcohousing.org" coming on a station like WBUR really resonated with 
people interested in cohousing.

In Providence, RI a small group of us has met and started to brainstorm 
about how and where to build.  We created a website, a Facebook page and, 
and a Meetup page.


We expect our cohousing community will be multi-generational, in an urban 
setting with a common house.  The homes will be a variety of sizes that may be 
co-ops, rental units, rent-to-buy, private ownership and include affordable and 
market rate pricing.
-- So, how did other start-ups find members?
-- What methods would you recommend?
-- What are priority steps?
