On the theory that cohousers are also interested in timebanking I’m sending this announcement. Please share with anyone you know who is running a timebank: This an invitation to join a new email discussion group for timebank coordinators. This is a focused discussion on timebank issues — member engagement, philosophy, technology, best practices, Q&A, etc. It is moderated by Sharon Villines who has been a fan of timebanks for over 40 years when they were called by other names. She also believes that email discussion lists provide the fastest answers to daily problems and the best access to experts. People who love what they do also like to talk about it and help newbies and share with colleagues. To join send a blank email to timebanks+subscribe [at] groups.io Groups.io also provides many features that can be helpful to coordinators — a database, polls, a wiki, chats, and subgroups. Once the list is a substantial size it is also possible to have subgroups based on specific software — hOUR World, CW3k, etc. On special interest areas like agency connected timebanks.
