First time I visited SF, in 2000, the taxi driver from the airport
told me his 1,200 sf ordinary suburban house had just been reappraised
for $420,000.  The legislatures have set a housing density cap, and
rising housing prices are the result.

Why don't the legislatures set the minimum wage to $100, and then
everyone will be rich?
