Boulder has a community car sharing program. There are cars and trucks stashed 
all over town - like those rent-a-bicycle stands. After joining, there's a 
reservation system and members have a fob that opens the car key lock box. 
Insurance is included. I tried it out once and if I didn't have a car, it's 
worth joining. I keep my membership up in the chance my car is in the shop. Out 
west, cars are, pretty much a necessity.
