This list of gear for our CH kitchen may not be exhaustive (I haven’t been in 
the kitchen recently, due to corona) but may have a memory jogging item for 
those thinking of what to keep an eye out for when planning, and what to have 
storage for)

dishes- dinner plates, small plates, soup bowls, dessert bowls (Corelle)
glassware (that works with your dishwasher; consider Duralex, and stem-free 
wine glasses)
forks, butter knives, lg and small spoons
serving spoons, ice cream servers (Lehman’s “spade” is good), large and small 
tongs, cake/pie servers
serving trays and bowls, pitchers
stainless mixing bowls incl big salad ones; hotel pans (assorted sizes), pyrex 
rectangular baking pan(s), cake pans, muffin tins, pie plates, cookie sheets
measuring spoons/cups, incl various sizes of Pyrex measuring pitchers, funnels 
whisks, spatulas, wooden spoons, potato masher, rolling pin
garlic press, pizza wheel, peelers, cheese slicer/shavers, citrus juicer
cutting boards (recommend flexible plastic ones)

dish towels, hand towels, rags (big towels for floods, small for cleaning, red 
for floors), potholders, rubber gloves, aprons

cast iron skillets, soup pots w lids, assorted saucepans. (Teflon is toxic- 
avoid) griddle

quality sharp knives (ceramic are too fragile for group use)
(Dremel tool is helpful for engraving ID on costly soup pots, knives etc)

salad spinner, colanders, strainers
food thermometers, scale to weigh ingredients, timer
fire extinguisher, first aid kit, clock
coffee/tea/wine gadgets

crockpots, rice cookers, immersion blender, stand mixer, blender, food 
processor, electric tea kettle
tape, markers, pens, paper
cookbooks (incl MooseWood Cooks for a Crowd)
pot scrapers, scrubbies, cleaning supplies
pitchers, flower vases, (table cloths, cloth napkins, tea lights for tables)
matches, lighter, birthday candles
