About a mile away from us, Cambridge Cohousing was built using modular 
construction back in the 90's.  I'm surprised no one from there has spoken up, 
but maybe that experience is too old to be useful.

I've cc'd a few people who live there.

Has anyone built a cohousing community using modular construction, to make it 
more affordable?

We?re planning to have a cohousing community at Mirador Astronomy Village, and 
modular seems worth considering given a rural--even remote--location and the 
additional expense and challenges that implies.
