Corning sold off all their brands in 1991 to a brand marketing company
(Corelle Brands) that then contracted with other manufacturers to
produce them. This applies to Corelle, Corning Ware, and Pyrex. The same
company scooped up Chicago Cutlery and some others, too. They
reformulated and redesigned products at will. Don't assume modern Pyrex
products are ovenproof, for example. They are no longer made of
borosilicate glass.
