Hi all — Thought you might be interested in this “debate” on Senior cohousing 
for women.  Maria Brenton, founder of Older Women Co Housing (OWCH) in Great 
Britain, and Mette Kjorstad, resident and chairman of the board of Fardknappen 
(missing the punctuation marks) which is Sweden’s first cohousing community.  I 
can’t tell what the “debate” will be about since they are both supporters of 
and work in cohousing. 

Martie Weatherly, Liberty Village, Maryland,  and I first met Maria Brenton and 
the group in London.  That was in 2001 right after 9/11. Later she came to one 
of our national conferences in Boulder, CO I think. She started the cohousing 
pathway for OWCH in 1998. The group moved in to their new home in 2016.  Now, 
there’s this great cohousing community for women 50+ and older.

I’m assuming this event is free since the announcement includes the zoom link, 
and the Meeting ID and Passcode.     
This event takes place in Europe. 

What time does it start?  The organizing entity is a museum in Poland.  In the 
announcement they list the start time in 12 hour format.  It says 6:00 pm.  I 
checked via Zoom and saw that the start time is 12 noon EST.  I will try at 
High Noon.  If there’s no one there … I’ll try 6:00 …
