Village Hearth Cohousing is a 55+, LGBTQ, Friends and Allies Community.
We have started using a website and App called Lotsa Helping Hands to setup
support for Neighbors who need short term assistance while recovering from
surgery and other life events. We have started having community
conversations about what "Neighborly Care" is and what it isn't when
Neighbors need various levels of care. We hope to create a Community
agreement on "Neighborly Care." We have also collected Emergency Medical
forms for all Members so that we know what is needed and who to contact in
case of medical emergencies.
