If you think Sharon is being melodramatic, this did happen at my former community. Not the fence part, but one of our members was spending a month off the grid. His brother came to house-sit and died. Lessons learned: (1) Keep your list of member next-of-kin contacts up to date, and (2) consider having a master key or a copy of the key to each unit and think about when and why you might use those keys.
